Anthropologie
Anthropologie is a store that I would love to work for one day, and this is the reason I chose to create a wall directive for this brand. I merchandised the wall for the spring 2020 season which is why I chose an assortment of pinks, greens, and neutral colors such as tans and chocolates. This color story was chosen to create a very feminine, whimsical, natural mood. I chose to use vines and cherry blossom flowers to keep my theme cohesive in texture, mood and brand image. When I was researching Anthropologie stores throughout the United States, I became familiar with the fact that they often use cherry blossom trees and vines in their displays. What better way to communicate their brand image and mood than to include these elements in my wall display?
Old Navy
I merchandised this wall for the Fall 2020 Season. For this wall, I wanted to focus on the fundamentals that a woman may need during the fall. I showcased t-shirts, sweaters, denim, scarves, belts, hats and the perfect shoes to complete the outfits. The color story matches fall very well, and i drew my inspiration from the fall leaves and various colors of raw denim. Following Old Navy’s brand image, I chose to create a wall of all basic t-shirts. This is someting Old Navy does in all of their stores, and it creates storage space, increases the amount of SKU’s present, and creates an amazing color story. When doing research on the brand, I realized that they use a lot of lifestyle graphics in their stores, as well as close-ups of their products. I took this information and incorporated it into my wall directive to be cohesive with the brand image.
